I chugged it down, did a little shiver, then washed it down with some plain water. The first one was a shock of taste, but that was because I put it in about 6 ounces of water. The last thing is the Slim & Sassy oil I’m supposed to put in my water. I’m beginning to see a problem! The good thing was, even though I had to stop myself from eating these things, I didn’t have to fight the craving for them! We had a bowl of popcorn on the counter and I almost reached for some, just because it was there. I cut the crust off my son’s toast and just about popped it in my mouth because that’s what I usually do. What I did have to overcome was the natural instinct to graze. I had the shake at about 7 am and didn’t start feeling hungry until 11:30. I chose to try chocolate first and as I was mixing the almond milk with the powder I was thinking, “How on earth is 4 ounces of almond milk and a scoop of this mix going to keep me satisfied until lunch?!?” But it did!. Next, I just want to say that I LOVE the Trim Shakes. Over the next month I will not only be looking to see if this continues, but also, if I can add in workouts and still not feel tired midday. If it makes me feel better, I’m totally good with it! I will say that I didn’t hit the afternoon slump yesterday, but I’m not ready to contribute that to this product yet. First, taking the pills for Lifelong Vitality makes me feel like a junky! Six pills in the morning and six pills at night feels like a little much, but its doable. I wanted to post about my experience on day 1 of this challenge. In fact, I’m writing this post at nearly 10 o’clock at night, when I’m usually a brain-dead pile of mush.Īgain, I’m excited to see if this all continues or if I’m experiencing the ever famous placebo affect, but the fact that I’m seeing progress in more than just one area is encouraging! Despite the bit of sleepiness I had while sitting through the Nutcracker with my daughters (that music is so amazing!) I have not had any issues with energy. Today while I was sitting around talking to my family, without thinking about it, I found myself taking my wedding ring on and off with very little resistance! I finally just stopped taking it off a few months ago because it was too much effort. I can take the plain ring on and off pretty easily (although it was starting to get a little tight), but my weeding ring became so tight that to take it off I had to run my finger under cold water then put soap on it. I wear two rings, my wedding ring and plain ring on the opposite hand. It was actually something that I was going to be looking for to see if I was really making progress. I hit my first milestone today, way earlier that I thought I would. What I’m hoping is to get used to the taste of it and see if those cravings come back or if the actual oils are helping my body. I have my theories on this (namely, it leaves that taste in my mouth, making all other foods seem unappetizing), but regardless of the reasons, it still works. What I realized was, the S&S seems to be helping curb my desire to put stuff in my mouth just for taste. I wasn’t hungry (thank you Trim Shake), but I really wanted to snack. After I had my lunch shake, I was in a hurry to go somewhere so I put off drinking my shot of S&S water and the desire to munch was overwhelming. Hunger didn’t strike until noon, awesome. After my morning shake I chugged my S&S before I left the house for the morning. Today I learned the importance of the Slim and Sassy oil in this process. They are also the creator the game’s sequel, Afterlife: The Game.I don’t plan on posting updates every day, only when I feel like there is a change or that I’ve learned something new.
